ABOUT US

The Marin County Search & Rescue K9 team are highly skilled, volunteers, available 24/7 to assist in the efforts to locate the missing & lost. The K9 team members of Marin SAR have assisted in searches for missing children, at-risk-adults, despondent people, and lost hikers.

Dogs can cover large geographic areas, saving the team time and manpower. Search dog teams provide important clues about the missing persons direction of travel are a proven lifesaving resource.

Volunteer Prospects

We encourage all those interested in joining the Marin SAR K9 team to contact our Canine Manager about time and training requirements before acquiring a dog.
